Join us throughout the summer and fall to visit a family run farm since 1865.
Adams Farm is a working seven-generation farm in southern Vermont, offering the public seasonal activities and agricultural experiences. Activities are always interactive, educational, humorous, and memorable. It’s part agriculture, part attraction, and always entertaining. Enjoy feeding the farm animals, wagon rides, sleigh rides, paintball, along with many other seasonal special events.
Climb aboard a wagon pulled by one of our antique John Deere Tractors, through our maple sugar grove, to the trout pond, past the old log cabin and back to the farm animal area for a sheep herding demonstration. During the ride learn about some of Vermont’s history, as well as the farm’s history. Enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery of Southern Vermont.
Following the wagon ride, enter our renovated dairy barn for a short agricultural presentation on how the farm has been able to survive in the same family for seven generations, and how agriculture has changed over the years.
During the winter months join us for a horse drawn sleigh ride. Pulled by a team of heavy draft horses through the woods, across the ridge of our mountain and to a log cabin nestled at the corner of the property. Warm up by the wood stoves, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate, and try your hand at our old player piano! *weather permitting*
