Green Mountain Sugar House
The red roofed sugar house, just steps away from the water’s edge, is where everything is made from maple syrup to mouth-watering maple fudge. It also serves as a Vermont country gift shop, offering a selection of Vermont made products as well as Maple Creemees year round. The Green Mountain Sugar House makes for a perfect planned stop whenever groups are in the area.
Group Policies & Rates: Advance notice is encouraged so that a tour may be scheduled.
Motorcoach Parking Information: The bus may drop off passengers and park across the street in the cleared lot until ready to load. Walking across the street in large groups is not advised. Details are discussed upon booking.
Dates of Operation: Open year round.
Highlighted Group Experience: Gifts, Vermont made products and souvenirs are available throughout the shop. Groups are welcome to stop in and enjoy a maple creemee on the lake. Motorcoach groups that schedule a tour in advance can enjoy a special experience of the sugar house, complete with a detailed explanation of how syrup is made and a tour of the facility. A sweet little sample is included, with an exit through the gift shop.
