Red Kite Candy is a small, family business founded in 2009 by life-long candy hobbyist Elaine McCabe. We make all of our candy ourselves with the best ingredients and techniques possible, always prioritizing freshness and taste over cutting corners. We know this matters when enjoying or giving a thoughtful treat!

We’re gift-givers ourselves, and we know it’s difficult to find gifts that are both convenient and thoughtful. Our delicious, handcrafted candy comes with personal touches like handwritten notecards, so it’s easy for you to make everyone’s day with thoughtful treats!

We specialize in our famously smooth, delicious caramels that our founder Elaine has been making for over 30 years. We also make toffee, Nougat (de Montélimar), turtles, and other specialty items. If you visit, you will likely meet owners Elaine & Mike.

We began on our kitchen stove, selling at local farmers markets. Since then, we’ve converted our basement into a commercial kitchen, moved from there into our production facility in Bradford, VT. All of our manufacturing, package design, marketing, and customer service is done by us.
