Sugarbush Cheese and Maple Farm

A scenic working farm in central Vermont.

Guided tour includes visiting the maple sugar house with detailed explanation of maple tree tapping, sap collection, and syrup making, plus a sample of maple syrup. Your group will also be treated to samples of some of our cheeses (which are hand packaged in wax for safe unrefrigerated travel).

Shop our farm house store for 15 kinds of cheese, all sizes of maple syrup as well as Vermont jams and mustards (always open for sampling). Shipping available. Baby calf and farm animals to pet. Within 15 minutes of Billings Farm & Museum, Quechee Gorge, and Simon Pearce Glass. Allow 1 1/2 hours (one hour at the farm and 15 minutes from Rt 4 to get here and 15 minutes to get back to Rt 4).

Dates of Operation:

Guided tours June 1 – late October. Open daily 9 A.M. (earlier by special arrangement) to 5 P.M.

Group Policy and Rates:

Free admission. Complimentary gift for driver and guide. Located on a rural road so advance reservations are necessary to have our guide meet you on Route 4 near Woodstock or at the Quechee Gorge.
